Panchanan Bhattacharya was a discipline of yogiraj Lahiri mahasayan.He was born in a family where religious customs are performed strictly.From his childhood days itself he had a great spiritual thurst.He objected the religious customs followed by his family and leaved his family in search of a guru to lead him to the Eternal truth.His journey ended at Lahiri mahasaya's feet.Lahiri mahasaya accepted him as his beloved discipline only after making him agree to live as a family man.Because lahiri mahasayan had known that in the new age kriya yoga and its benefits should go to common man also!.Family people will gain more spiritual inspiration from a yogi who lives as a family man (that's why mahavatar babaji also insisted his discipline lahiri mahasayan to lead a family life) Lahiri mahasayan gave him 'Kriya yoga diksha'(yogic act practiced to become self-realized) and allowed him to spread the message of ideological spiritual life.With the blessings of his guru, he established Arya mission institution to spread the Ideology of spiritual life and kriya yoga. Lahiri mahasayan allowed him to give kriya yoga to eligible people and spread the message of kriya yoga.
